Nice stand out compostion. I really like the black background, it makes the cat's eyes stand out even more than they would otherwise.One suggestion: try feathering the outline of the cat just a few pixels. This will help the viewers eye with the transition between the cat and the background. Right now the edge is a bit sharp.
