Hi again Pete,This shot was taken with my 100mm macro lens with the camera on a tripod in my back garden. I just went in as close as I could to where I could still focus right up to the edge of the petal and used a remote cable to trigger the shutter. It was taken `in situ` on a very calm day with overcast sky. With regard to retouching all I ever do is a little levels adjustment if required and slight sharpening as I shoot with no in camera adjustments re contrast, sharpening etc.
Hope this is the info you want.

Thanks very much - I'll continue to watch your site for more shots.
