Pat, you surely timed this one well. The beauty of those clouds is one thing, but the reflection of them in the water - yielding to the darkening night - takes away any sense of fear. It combines power and serenity. Great shot! #151634

Thank you so much for taking time to look at my photo and comment. I really appreciat hearing from you. Now, if I could have planned this out, I could take credit for it, but nature has it's own timeline. At lease I saw it, grabbed the closest camera (didn't have time to get my Digital Rebel out) and ran out my back gate to compose this shot. I could have stayed in the house, then wished I would have shot this! But, this was one of the best skies I've seen over my house in a long time and it was at sunset! #670607

Yes, photographers are a funny bunch. Kinda like firemen - always ready to run out the door. Paying attention to what's going on "out there" becomes a special joy. Your family is the richer for it, even if you make them laugh. #672998
