Description

In very sad news, the male cub in this photo died on October 8th. He lost a front leg when he put it through a barred gate into his fathers cage. His mother bit his and his sister's tails badly trying to pull them away from the gate. He died when coming out of anesthesia during one of his surgeries. His sister is still recovering. Very sad. They were 4 months old.

Hi Amy - That is sad news. :-( I'm glad you had the chance to catch such a sweet image of this beautiful trio. ~ Cindy #760393

Yeah... I got lucky. They were only viewable to the public for a couple of weeks before the incident. They are magnificent creatures. #4920591
