This is really pretty. I know exactly where you were standing for the shot. I have a Cathedral Rock gallery on my website. I was never able to stay this late for the sunset glow.
Beautiful image. What month was this taken? Not alot of leaves on the trees. I was there in May.

I took the picture on March 15, 2006. About 8:30 in the evening. It was a very overcast day and the sun almost did not break through the clouds to light up the rocks. At almost the last second before it went below the horizon, it poked through and lit it up like someone flipped a light switch. Myself and two other fellas had about 1min. to shoot away.
