I like this composition better, Ellen. I think if you had backed up a touch, you would have been able to get good crops on both images. I know I must keep reminding myself not to overuse my zoom because I can do more with an image in the processing if I leave space around my subject.Ellen Powell September 08, 2007
Thanks, Steve. In the end I like this one better, too. I like his facial expression better and I like the light better.I understand what you say about leaving enough space around a subject to deal with it in the "editing room". I am crop-shy because I'm afraid that I will have to give up some clarity in the photograph when cropping.... #4765516
