Shoot - uploaded the wrong one - - - I fixed this and touched up the drop off on the right side of the photo. This is straight from the camera with no adjustments at all (except for image size for uploading) #147967

Thanks Mary & Diane - The boy is mine! :-) My youngest - I had to pay him to model for me - he likes making the cold hard cash! #648600

Very nicely done Louise!! May I ask what kind of lighting setup you used here? I'm getting ready to purchase a setup so I'm getting advice from everyone I can!! Thanks so much!! Great shot!! #649375

Hi Tammy - I used a three light setup here - which I purchased through J & K Group... they have a website and also sell a lot on e-bay. My two main lights are a low end (maybe I shouldn't say that) BASH 200WS. For this assignment I used one to illuminate the fabric backdrop with a reflective umbrella, camera left - one foot from the backdrop. The other served as my main with a shoot through white umbrella, camera right. The third is a 150WS strobe I used as a hairlight, though I didn't need it the white is so reflective. I'll be posting a few more of these high key portraits that I did not use a hairlight on. Glas you like the shot! I do too! #649792

Thanks very much Louise! I will check out their site! This is all so new to me!Indoor lighting is so much differrent to figure out than outdoor. I may call on you again to help answer more questions!! Thanks again!! #649819

You're welcome Tammy! And I agree with the indoor lighting thing - that's why I'm taking this class. Feel free to contact me any time! BTW I like these lights - but if I had it to do over again I would buy a more high end light. These are easy to work with, easy to set up and take down, but I anticipate this set becoming my back-up when I get a better set up (not in the near future). #649838

Yup, he doesn't look to enthused, but I love the shot anyway. Kind of a solemn, melancholy look! Love the ladder too! Great ideas you're giving me! #664450
