Adorable, are they sun conures? Beautiful vivid colors you captured, Mark! #646086

Thanks for the great comments! Yes they are sun conures, one of my fav parrots. Perhaps the color is a bit bright, thanks for your honesty Lori! #646612

First, great shot....I am getting one of these little creatures tonight from a friend. Very pretty birds. I personally do not think the color is too bright. I think a lot of images I see are not color correct and duller than they should be. If you are familiar with different colorspaces you can make your images pop more than most without being destructive at all to the image. The camera can only capture so much and it is up to us to gauge how brilliant we feel the image should be. As a very well known photo retoucher said,"We can leave aside the philosphical question of whether the reality is these dull colors that the camera saw or the comparatively bright ones conjured up by the infinitely creative human visual system." :) #2218977

Your welcome...I am lucky because a friend of mine had to take a job that took him away from the home and he does not want to neglect the bird in any way. They really are gorgeous birds. I will take some pics of my new photo subject when he arrives. Have a great holiday! #2219083
