Sad Dance
Uploaded: August 23, 2007
This was taken at our last wedding. I'm not sure what is wrong with this young lady, but there was definitely something physically wrong and I fear that it's terminal. When the brides father started to dance with her, several people around us were crying hard. And not the obvious 'happy' tears either. I took about a dozen shots of these two dancing and each one breaks my heart every time I look at them and I don't even know the story. My wife took a photo of her dancing with another guy and he was openly crying when doing so. Just heartwrenching. So very very sad.

You definitely have the gift of capturing emotion in your work. The whole spectrum---from joy to deep sadness. And you mangage to get all the technical stuff right at the same moment.
