Beauty On The Rocks

Description

This Monarch was near death when I laid it on the rocks and shot this image. I then carried to the bushes so it could die in peace. When I turned around, it flew away!

Beautiful Image Joann...... was this butterfly sitting on these stones or you made her sit there???

Hi Rahul!
Thanks for your comment! I actually laid the butterfly on the rocks. It had been shocked and wet when I found it, but it was still trying to bring itself back to a state of flight. #4646838
