Great find Paul. The green spider against the orange flower is a really nice contrast. Nice capture! #9325

Heather,
Yeah, at first it was hanging out on the green parts of the flower but after it had caought and eaten the bee, I guess it felt like it didn't need the camoflage anymore.
Thanks for the comments! #14922

Excellent capture and wonderful colours and textures! How on earth did you manage to get your tripod and shot set up and not have the spider run off before you'd finished? #14926

Great picture however it gives me chills just looking at it. LOL I'm not sure where you are from but I guess I'm pretty lucky to not have spiders like that around here! I definetly wouldn't be gardening if there was a chance of finding him in my flowers....lol. #14935

Wow!
I never thought I'd get so many responses from a picture of a spider!
Yeah, well, it is a creepy looking thing, and yet fasinating at the same time. It amazed me also that it just hung out on the top of this flower!
You'd think a hungry bird would've made a quick meal of it!

Paul,
I have no problem with spiders. They help control the pest population. I'm glad you got this wonderful shot. Good job!
