Purple Flower

Uploaded: August 06, 2007

Description

This Beautiful purple flower grew in my garden (I don know the name but I got this plant from a Nursery). I shot this picture more than a year back using my Manual film SLR and thus dont remember the aperture/shutter settings used..
I've done little enhancement using photoshop (Cropping, unsharp mask, saturation). I'd request your feedbacks on this picture.

Rahul, this could have been an excellent shot had it been sharper. To get a good closeup like this, you need a true macro lens and tripod. Also a shutter release so your hands will not be on the camera when it fires. I hope this will help in the future. Have a great day, and keep shooting. Your friend, Bill #734915

This would be a Resurrection Lily, they lie dormant in winter time and resurface in summer, hence their name. #5839021
