Description

Taken on the Ballard County Wildlife Refuge mid morning. Canon 100-400 @ 1/500 F 5.6 ISO 100. Slight crop and sharpening in PS7. I know I have submitted several Eagles, but they are my favorite subjects! This one was flying over a pond fishing but he hadn't caught anything yet. Hope You enjoy.

Beautiful shot Matt! I love to shoot eagles too - but they're only here in the winter. I just started going through some old shots from this past winter this afternoon to pick a few to post in the next few weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing them again this winter. Your eagle shots in your gallery are beautiful - as are your other wildlife and water/sunset and sunrise shots. And the shot you zoomed is very cool - what a great subject for the zoom - one of the best I've seen! I'm looking forward to seeing more! -K #612766

Thanks Bonnie and K. K, I understand what you mean about only being here in the winter. One of the other places I shoot at is like that. I'm glad you enjoyed the other pictures. Thanks again for taking the time to view and comment. Matt #614579
