Description

This may not be a very exciting image for some of you, but I live in the Mojave Desert in Southern Nevada and the monsoon season is always exciting to us. I took this from behind my house yesterday and my neighbor seeing me out with tripod in the storm commented on giving Ben Franklin some competition. I loved the extra sunset colors.

Abby, this is a stunning capture of the storm. I experienced my first desert monsoon just this last Saturday in Arizona, I however, was not brave like you and waited until it passed to go out but was lucky to get some of the clearing clouds. What beauty the desert provides at ALL times of the year. #4583645
