This photo is really filled with emotion and moodiness. Were you at 300mm? If so, it explains the softness created by the lens. I might have even got closer than that. But, maybe you were at 300mm already and also. I don't know what situation you were faced with taking this shot. I still really like this shot! #606042Dorothy Neumann June 20, 2004
I feel a great sense of sadness looking at this poor child. It's a photo that tugs at the heart strings. Excellent image of a situation that's all too common. #606098Lori Ditlefsen June 20, 2004
Wonderful shot filled with so much heartfelt emotion. #606433Shawn Benson June 20, 2004
Thank you all so much for the fantastic responses. I can’t remember if I was at the end of the lens or not, but I like the composition, in that it helps to properly illustrate the child’s condition. I can definitely use some critique though, so keep it coming. Thanks #606779Leanne M.E. Boyd June 20, 2004
I'm not very good at critiquing, all I know that this shot, shows the emotion. Great shot! #607051Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
