The image uploader may soften the pictures, if it has to resize them. If you want to play with it a bit, try making your image just a tad bit smaller than the size at which the uploader automatically shrinks your picture to fit the ideal photo size on Betterphoto. In other words, look at your already-uploaded picture, see how big it is, open your original pic in a photo-editing program, and resize it so it's just smaller, maybe even by 1 pixel on each side. They have a new uploader now, but it might do the same softening as the old one through interpolation, and what not, when resizing.Heather L. Haderly July 29, 2007

Unavailable EXIF: If there is no other information but 'Unavailable' in the EXIF (meaning no EXIF data exists with the photo), the 'Unavailable' blurb is not displayed. If there is any info, it shows. Many photos have the EXIF stripped out when people modify the image and resave it, before uploading.
