What Big Teeth You Have!

Uploaded: July 28, 2007

Description

Making herself heard at the Bronx Zoo. I was about 15 feet from a thick glass window with another 15 to 20 feet from the window to the Tiger. I like the way the big apature allowed me to knock the background and the foreground out of foucs while focusing on the Tiger. Aperture: F5.6, shutter: 1/100, lens: Sigma 80-400 with OS @ 280mm, location: Bronx Zoo, name: What Big Teeth You Have!, time of day: late overcast afternoon

Thanks for the nice comments Toni and Nancy. The thing I like best about this shot is with that big 400mm lens I was able to get both the foreground and backgound out of focus with the focus only on the Tiger. #4967293
