Denise: Been there ... been chased. My theory is:

It's easier to ask forgiveness than permission to photograph in public places. Usually, it's flash or tripod that they prohibit.

Yes - Poor Jim! Or, Poor Me for traveling with a man who insists on taking his camera and tripod EVERYWHERE... even if it gets us in trouble. :-)

Funny, you'd think people would be forgiving in a church, but no. We had even paid extra to be able to bring the camera gear in there, but this priest was not too pleased. It was closing time and he wanted to go home. But we had to get one last shot!

Peter, your theory is also Jim's theory. You crazy photographers! #668016

Now that's funny! We've all been there. It's somewhat embarassing when you are asked to leave but getting at least one shot makes it all worth it And then you feel like you got away with something...LOL..I understand how you must feel Denise. My friends all say the same thing about me. #796393
