Thanks Linda. I applied the style to the background to draw your eye to the flower. The background was pretty ugly so I didn't want it to detract from the natural beauty of the flower.

I see what you mean, Iv been using paintshop pro 7 I got photoshop 6 from a friend is that the same .I only took up photography last year I havent tried it yet, I guess I feel Iv just got used to paintshop. Im presently stuck with an old black and white photo taken in 1956 I havent had any luck with skin tones I dont think Iv got enough experience is it a possibility in photoshop or are skintones always difficult. #13967

Skintones, as you say, are always difficult. However, Photoshop is a great tool, I use it constantly for work and pleasure. #13973
