Moth (Antheraea polyphemus)
Uploaded: July 11, 2007
Found this moth one morning while I was checking out my flower garden. It was a brightly overcast day with threats of thunder showers all day. I did take the hosta leaves and place both the moth and the leaves on my car in my garage to photograph him/her. I was just in awe with the eyes on the wings. I was using my 85mm lens, ISO 200, F11, 100th or so on the shutter speed.
