Fireworks: Man's and Nature's

Uploaded: July 03, 2007

Description

One thing those of us who live in the country over those who live in the cities is access to clear skies.

While the fireworks burst in the air over Elk River, Idaho June 30, Mother Nature put on her own show with the convergance of the planets Saturn and Venus in the evening sky.

You can see them here, below the fireworks and above the trees. Venus is the brighter spot, while Saturn sits right above her.

Wonderful capture, Kai! I love the juxtaposition of the natural and man-made "stars"! #684775

This is fantastic!!! And before I even read your description, I was thinking "this looks so much like Idaho!" (which is where I grew up)

Happy 4th to you! #4471343
