While metering to the evening light, Calli got restless and pulled the hat down over her face. When I saw this I took the shot and it ended up being one of my favorites. Minolta xtsi, Kodak B&W Film.

Thanks for the nice comments. I just took a photography course in the spring on how to actually use my camera ;-)(It was a gift from my boyfriend), and I have found I enjoy taking portraits. Right now I am taking a lot of B&W's and I'm loving it! Since I've only been doing this about 7 months I am still learning and practicing all the basics, from the rules of thirds to metering, so I welcome any comments and suggestions.
