How cute. Do you raise orphaned squirrels? I have several that come from outside and knock on the door for a peanut butter sandwiches and lots of other goodies. Those big beautiful eyes just make you melt. Smart little things. You took a GREAT PICTURE!!! #573994

Yes Deborah I raise The orphaned baby squirrels as they are brought to me.They are alot of work in the process but it is very rewarding to me.It makes me feel good when I can finally release them back into the wild.I have 4 Fox Squirrels that still hang around in my backyard. When their feeders are empty they come and tell me by knocking on my windows. They have babies every year too which are a joy to watch when they finally start to venture out. This one is a Red Squirrel and Red Squirrels do some not so nice things to Fox Squirrels so I am going to release them into a friends yard.He has a red squirrel population and puts feeders out for them so they will stay out of his bird feeders. There also is a water source and plenty of pine trees too. These little Red Squirrels are ready for release(There are 3...1 girl and 2 boys).I am just waiting for some nicer weather. We have been having alot of rain storms here in Michigan.Thank you for looking! Wonderful close-up, CAT. Your story of your work with orphaned baby squirrels is very interesting, too. You are a real friend to the little creatures. #574161
