Capitol Stonework

Uploaded: June 05, 2007

Description

The New York State Capitol building showcases amazing artistry in stonework. After a quarter century of construction and 25 million dollars, then Governor Theodore Roosevelt declared the complex "complete" in 1899, even though some stone carvings had not been finished.

Thanks Ronda. It's kinda dark, which is probably why it's had so few comments; but it turned out pretty good for hand-held, I thought. #4420219
