Self portrait taken 30 min after sunset. Then took another 165 images at 30 seconds after I moved out of the frame.
Stacked them all in Photo shop.

This is a stunning image.That is some dedication - could you have shot yourself then have someone cover the lens remove yourself then shot one exposure for star trails at around six to eight hours for the complete circle of star trails? Either way it is brillant! #657191John McCollum May 17, 2007
Digital noise prevents long exposures with a digital camera. My D-70 will do burst mode up to 30 seconds. I just strap the shutter down in burst mode and go watch t.v for a while. #4294056Kevin N. McNeal May 17, 2007
