The picture was taken in the fall with a NikonCP990 digital camera with the lens at it's widest setting. I had very little time to think about my exposure, etc. because the sun was coming up fast and the scene was rapidly changing. I was after the glow on the tops of the trees in the distance. I intentionally stepped back to include the weeds in the foreground.
