hey thanks, L! :-)

hmmm.. what if I told you I was hanging upside down, by my legs, on an overhanging branch? wouldja believe me?

i better not, cause that would be lying. haha actually there's a cool, flat rock formation, that acts as nature's patio, or deck. :-) so I got to walk right up to the edge, keeping my new hiking shoes dry. ::grins and smiles::

i agree about the persepective.. it's like you're right there. :-) it was a really fast river! strong! very cool! I wanna go back up there, in the earlier sunny hours, to go hike through a ravine, just up the river from this shot. it's amazing country!

have a great day :-) #521665

hi Cathy. thank you. yeah, the blues.. wow.. it reminds me kind of, like a painting, by that Kincaid guy. or, whatever the name was? just not quite as awesome as his work though. lol

not bad for being "out there" though, eh? ;-P j/k

Oh yeah... the river is called the Hamma Hamma River. In the Olympic mountains, in Washington state. I read that Hamma Hamma means Stinky Stinky, in indian. lol They say probably because of the dying spawning salmon, smelling up the ravine.

Hmmm... I'll be sure to plan my hike when they aren't spawning! ;-) #521730
