Description

Hi Guys,

This Grey Heron is one that regularly visits the streams near my home. This time he was out for some frogs and was capturing them one after another. Whilst diving for the frogs they protect their eyes with a thin semi transparent eye-lid as you can see in this picture. This frog-love-couple was unfortunate to be discovered during their courtship and was caught by surprise. The Male frog must have thought..."untill Death do us Part" ....

Greetings,

Jeroen Stel
