Ice on the Maumee River

Description

Quite often in winter river inlets off the bigger lakes freeze. As the temperatures start to thaw it causes the ice to start to break up. An older bridge in downtown Toledo Ohio was having considerable work done. A barge used to load supplies and equipment broke free due to this ice. Although it is not a terribly attractive picture, perhaps it will show a story.
