A Day In The Woods
Uploaded: March 31, 2007
Taken deep in my woods. My beautiful dogwoods. I spot metered the brightest white petal to intentionally darken everything around the blooms. Used circular polarizer and selective focus on the front bloom. Canon 24-105 L IS at 85 mm, f/4.5, 1/60, ISO 100, hand held (don't you just love Image Stabilization!)

This is a winner .... breathtaking and artfully shot. (very impressed with your technique as described in caption.) I'd buy a print of this! #4136743Sheila K. Floyd April 06, 2007

Lovely! I like the composition, the selective focus, the dark background. Well thought out and executed.Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
