This is a very strong image. Good eye I get into the picture and don't want to leave as I explore all the sub pics. I would like to see some closeups from this subject, related to texture and pattern. #187020

Hi Sonja, nice picture but what is the point of intrest? not being mean when I say that, but it is a very busy photo maybe if you had come around and cut out that one tree and left the other two at a different angle, it would improve the photo or if you had gone to your right and framed all three like they were together rather than appart it would have helped. I find the root system very busy to look at. If you are near this location try it again at different angles, at least that was what I was taught, get down on your hand and knees and shoot that way, move in close, etc.
Please Sonja take this as constructive critisim, and not personal

Yeah, it's an interesting tree. If you can get back to it easily, try shooting an entire to detail of the tree. That is, as Stan suggests, shoot from every angle and get in close, isolate parts with select foccus. Do horizontals and verticals too. Have fun with it.

Good luck.

Thanks folks for the comments.
I do appreciate them.
This is a picture of one tree not three, but I do agree I should have got down on all four. This is one in a series of the first landscape shots that I took a year ago and still learning. Thanks again!! #900507
