Palamino
Uploaded: March 19, 2007
Glen Morriston, Highlands, Scotland. A little bit different from my purely landscape images of Scotland, though I feel that the Palomino horses are still very integral to this delightful winter scene. The backlighting was soft and sumptuous and the snow covering acted as a giant reflector bouncing back light into their beautiful chestnut coats.
Pentax 67 II ,55-100 zoom,Fujichrome Velvia.
Image started off as a 6x7 but cropped to 35mm slide, more space being available around the horses. F8 at 1/125sec.
