A Blue Night In Monterrey
Uploaded: March 15, 2007
Taken in Monterrey. I was experimenting with RAW and wanted to see what I could do with the images. All RAW adjustments except for the crop which was done via Photoshop.

Here is one i'm thinking about entering in the contest. I will not ask for critique, I demand it. It seems whenever I ask for it I get none. There are some people who have given critique and I thank you ten million times over. #621916

Sergio, I understand your frustration in getting input so I will gladly offer mine. I agree with Bernard that the lighting is a little unanatural and the image may benefit from some warming. Also, the main focal point of the image is the fishing boat on the far left and it is traveling out of the image. The horizon is at the top 1/3 and looks good drawing your view into the center though I feel that the main subject should be traveling into your image. You may also want to remove that red post right in front it is rather distracting. I love the panorama effect. #4064286Sergio Miranda March 17, 2007

Awesome picture, Sergio. I like the color a lot and the crop you gave it. #4188347Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
