Donna,
I have looked at quite a lot of your photographs during the past month, you are obviously dedicated to the art of photography and continuously produce work anyone would be proud of.
I feel I would have been really at ease watching this man fishing as the sun disappeared, my wife of 46 years at my side, what more could a man want?? A Grolsh as a bonus??

Hi Mike, Thanks for the kind comments. It was a lovley hot evening and I enjoyed relaxing right there on that dock taking many, many images... It was one of those hot ultra-red sunsets. This negative was a hard one to scan.... My scanner loves yellow .. Everything I scan has too much yellow tint so I did have to do some color adjusting with this to match my print . Thanks again!! #10119

Hi Carolyn, Hot is right. This is an older stock shot of mine.. I havn't been out once THIS summer for a sunset. You have been much more tolerant of the heat than me.. It seems hotter than ever in these parts..Thanks again for the comment!! #10123

Another beauty, Donna!! I have a difficult time shooting in the heat too. Sunsets from our vantage point haven't been that great lately. But this one is very nice!! #10134

Hi Peder and thank you. I just browsed your gallery again and it's looking very good. I really like the sunflower tears. On first glance it looked like eyes. It is a very creative picture.. Great gallery of images! #10144

Hi Delores, I suppose we should get out in the morning more often and shoot while it's cooler instead of being on the PC... You certainly are good at these type of exposures and it would be a waste not to do it!!Thanks for the kind words again girlfriend!! #10145

Hi Donna,

Nice choice of exposure. Did you have to use a graduated N.D., or was the sky that nice all by itself? Great work!

Donna R. Moratelli July 26, 2002

Hi Bob, The sky was nice all by itself with the help of a vertical format,pre-dusk and wide angle lens..I didn't have the grad ND when I shot this one. #10155
