Nice job, Janelle. I remember this assignment--it was tough! I do wonder if anyone will ever find the wallet, though! :) I will presume that Bryan liked this, and he loved the line out from the person--it has a really nice surreal quality. Great sky, as well. #6831

Oops - was looking through my e-mail and realized I forgot to reply to you. Yes, Bryan really did like it - except he wished the man had more of a stride rather than the appearance of standing still. I had told my husband, Steve, to put one foot ahead like he was walking - but I guess from that angle it wasn't really apparent in the photo. BTW, we had a whole lot of fun shooting this assignment on our Hawaiian vacation - also dropped his wallet on jagged lava fields next to the ocean on Maui, with Haleakala in the background; on Makena Beach also on Maui; and on old smooth lava flows on the Big Island when we walked out to see the hot lava (with many other fellow gawkers). It was more of a lava ooze when we were there - nevertheless an amazing sight - but I've seen on TV that it started revving up right after we left and is now pouring into the ocean again. Rats! #10217
