What a beautiful photo. May I ask if you used a filter? I am new at photography and will be taking a trip to NYC in September. I will be taking several rolls of film at the cathedrals there and don't really know how to capture the beauty of the stained glass windows and exterior shots. Yours is so lovely.

Hi Jone't,
Thanks for the nice complement--much appreciate it. I used a polarizing filter for this shot, which helps to cut glare and give better colour saturation--kind of like sun glasses for your camera. This type of filter is especially good for making the sky look a richer blue. #173340
