You can't see me!

Uploaded: February 26, 2007

Description

This is the first wild cat I have ever had the oportunity to photograph and he came in very close before he realized I was there. This shot was taken as soon as he noticed me and tried to duck out of sight. Using my tent as a blind and shooting out the door. Taken in Clear Alaska while I was setting up a winter camp along a small river on a snowmobile trip.

WOW...what a close up. So the white...is that snow or the tent? #612144

Yes the white is snow. It was around -10 below zero. I think that is why he was on the prowl during the day like that, and there was a big storm that passed through the next day so that could explain why he was on such a mission as well. #3998470
