Nicely done. How did you get such a pure red in the sky? #459631Anil Sudhakaran April 02, 2004
Thank you for the comments Leanne, Kristen & Steven.I am glad you asked this question Steven.
I recently purchased Singh-Ray ND 3 stop & Singh-Ray Reverse GND 3 stop filters. I decided to test them out last evening.
I used the reverse GND to reduce the contrast in the horizon and the ND to slow down the water. Individually these filters are neutral. But combining them caused a color shift to more reddish. I was surprised by the color shift. But I liked the final outcome.

Anil: Thanks for the answer. That is surprising. I wonder if it is film dependent or a reciprocity effect (long exposures can shift colors). What film did you use? #459686Anil Sudhakaran April 02, 2004
Steven,Here is the sunset using only the Reverse GND and without the ND filter.
