D200, started playing with a picture I didn't think would work for anything else...used levels galore, layers ad infinitum and played till I got to this. THEN I read on one of the threads about the 480 short side thing and oh-my-gosh it improved it!! So I deleted and reloaded...

Unavailable EXIF: If there is no other information but 'Unavailable' in the EXIF (meaning no EXIF data exists with the photo), the 'Unavailable' blurb is not displayed. If there is any info, it shows. Many photos have the EXIF stripped out when people modify the image and resave it, before uploading.
