 New Bloom

Description

I took this photo with a Nikon Coolpix 8700. This baby was 9 days old and I was looking to take a picture for a birth announcement. I started taking pictures and looking for ideas around the house. The baby slept the whole time. I saw the flowers, the mother received at the hospital, and got my idea. I placed the baby "CAMPBELL" in a bowl and placed the flowers around him. So cute. I cropped the photo like this to try and get an artistic edge and something original. I think I captured the simple beauty of the new baby and the flowers. I edited it with Photoshop Cs2. I first desaturated the photo then recolored the flowers to their original color. I love this shot. My favorite.
