Description

The colors in this image were greatly enhanced in the beta version of Adobe Lightroom.

The Vibrance feature of this software is very quite different from the Saturation of any editing software.

This software is most useful when converting a RAW image, improving the exposure, white balance, heightening the vibrance of colors and all sorts of other things to individually edit color and light. #3900666

Nice image.

I took a whack at the original (from a screen shot) because I was curious and applied some simple techniques I use in my courses for Photoshop and Elements (actually all of these techniques are in my PS101 course). It looks to me like the Vibrance tool in Lightwave balances tone while enhancing color. I think you'll see a similar result in what I did--and I did it in Elements mostly with a simple levels adjustment and a few additional layer-based enhancements. I think this would have been better working from the original with the original resolution.

I'd give more credit to your eye and the capture than the editing software! Really all I did was adjust exposure and the color/tone fell into place. #3918445
