I met this man, Buddy who is 84, while looking for some good shots at Kymulga Gristmill, in Childersburg, AL. He turned out to be the reason for my visit. He reminded me why we should always keep the art of photography. He told me stories of when the gristmill got started, of how the wagons would haul the mill to the market and how the corn would be brought in. He had worked there his entire life. I sat and listened to him for hours. I shot rolls of him while he worked. Some might say it was an afternoon wasted. I say no. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had. I wanted to share this photo with you folks at BetterPhoto.com. He is a character and I hope to get back down there to visit with him again. #109629
