Piering Into The Sunset

Uploaded: January 20, 2007

Description

I got off work and headed to the beach. I could tell the sunset was going to be good, but traffic was bad. When I got to the Imperial Beach Pier I ran under it and began to snap photos. I shot about 20 and this one captured the look I had in my mind; looking down the pillars of the pier, the sunset spanning both sides, and the reflection of the sunset on the wet sand. I shot this with the exposure at -1 to bring out the color. Slight sharpen in Photoshop elements 4.
