Contrasting

Uploaded: January 12, 2007

Description

Gotta love that contrast! I use my contrast adjustment on my camera alot, this is an example. This is a self-portrait taken in B&W. Used a white muslin backdrop, two hot lights, and one 120 watt flood light behind me. F11, tripod and remote, ISO 50, put a little blue in the eyes and there I am, and boy am I bored! CABIN FEVER STINKS!

Look at you! Look at those eyes and
the gorgeous blue. I know what you mean about boredom, but you are getting some good shots and being productive!!
This is wonderful! Greatest pose yet
of your SP's. Your're beautiful with
your own hair! But this is gorgeous too!
The contrast is wonderful. The framing
is excellent! I love contrast too Stacy,
I do it on my computer in Windows XP.
This couldn't be better, it's perfect!
You are the master at SP's!!
This is gorgeous and very professional!! #3812119

See Beverly she won't believe me when I tell her. She indeed does very good self portraits, and yes the best I have seen.
I will only say this is very beautiful and alluring and stop there...:)

I love your boredom - and I love the fact that we can relate to each other so well with boredom setting in and SPs coming out! I could comment on every new picture on here, but that would take me hours, so let me say - you are doing some magnificent work! Love the SPs and the flowers are all gorgeous. You hit on several wonderful elements here (which have all been mentioned, so I won't single them out again). Oh, and I did enter the "Painted Me" into the contest - I hope you're right! You know, it's crazy, I spent probably an hour, trying to figure out what color and shade looked best for the 'eye shadow'... Lol! Anyway, keep up the fantastic work! #3824774
