Barking up the tree

Uploaded: July 04, 2002

Description

I firmly gripped the camera and pressed it against a knot in the bark as I composed and made this photo. An ultra-wide angle lens was used at maximum DOF. //Canon elan 7e and non-canon 19-35 lens. I exposed for the bark and manually focused at the distance of apx

Hi Donna,

This turned out real well. If I recall correctly, the proof from the lab wasn't very good (their fault, not yours). You did a great job scanning the negative and optimizing the image.

Hi Donna,
Really interesting perspective. I've got to get a wide angle lens--I keep looking, but its hard to find accessories for my old Canon AE-1. #9465
