Terrific photo--I also think this could be a winner! The perspective is great, the clarity is great, the lighting, color and everything is great. But I still feel sorry for the mouse. :( #3736465Chris Welch December 24, 2006
Thanks guys for your comments. The photo was fun but difficult to get. I was watching tv late and heard some rumbling in the bathroom, I looked and the cat had 2 mice.I grabbed my gear and shut us in. One escaped, I think my other cat got it. I did a few shots with my 50mm, didnt like the look, and changed to my Sigma 10-20.
Settings are; RAW, 1/160 sec, f/7.1, ISO 100, AI servo (all points on). 580 flash set to +1 FEC, and bounced off the tiled surface. I held the camera low and fired off 3 shot sequences.
In this shot the cat gave the mouse a whack and it smashed into my lens!!!
In the end I opened the door and let the mouse escape. Thanks for your comments again. #3736526
