Critique Welcome #565269Rachel E. Slepekis December 01, 2006
Beautful colors and focus! I really like this, my one suggestion however; is, the way the legs are cut off, I find kind of distracting. But that's just my 2 cents. #3654577Shawn M. Marymee December 01, 2006
Rachel,Thank you. I was trying to get the reflections from the back. I guess I did at the cost of the Flamingo legs. I don't know the rule of Where to crop animals? If you know please help!!! lol.
I want to get better so critique helps lots!!!
Thanks again
Shawn

I am not an expert at cropping animals, and I do love the reflection for this too!Protacio Serna December 02, 2006
The warm reflections on the water are nice, but the importance of the legs particularly on this species is paramount. The cold reflections near the bird's body are a nice complement to the main subject. If you want to keep those reflections on the upper portion of the picture, you should try a lower angle but that isn't always possible.
