I really like the lighting but the lip ring is a little distracting. It takes away from the main focus. #560075

Nice work Karen! We all see things a little different and I thought that the ring added an extra element of character! Jeff #3608951

Hi Marcos and Jeff,
Thank you both for your comments, I'm still not sure if I like the lip ring, but it was part of the model. I do appreciate the feedback! Thanks again,

Hello Karen

I love it.. Awesome compositon and incredible lighting. I'd even like to see it in BW or even a little SC of the Rose.. It's very dramatic.
Your whole gallery is GREAT! #3610040

Hi Karen, I like the composition, but the model looks a bit muscular. Perhaps it was your intention to juxtapose the lip ring and muscularity with the rose. I think it would be interesting to see the image with the light on the arm toned down. I think that would soften the feel of the image.

Hi Steve,
This girl is actually not very muscular at all, I think it was just the position of her arm. I am going to submit another similar image converted to B&W as per Michael S. suggestion which I think will look better. I will also clone out the lip ring, as I think it kind of contradicts the femininity I was looking to capture:)

~~~this picture is not simply about the subjective elements in the composition, but about the ethereal harmony created between light and dark which allows us to inexpecably feel good~~~
~~~Bravo Karen !~~~
