Description


Detail of one of the sails of the Sydney Opera House.

You may also be interested to know that it has 2194 pre-cast concrete sections as its roof (some weighing up to 15 tonnes). The roof sections are held together by 350 kms of tensioned steel cable and there are over 1 million tiles on them!
