Wheeling Suspension Bridge
Uploaded: November 08, 2006
I shot this image through the front window of my car while driving across the suspension bridge in Wheeling, West Virginia. This bridge is almost 150 years old and is the oldest suspension bridge in the US.

I went on this when I was on my way to get Colette for the Maine trip. By that time I'd been driving about 18 hours and wasn't in any mood to take pictures. LOL #3559690Paul E. Earl November 08, 2006

Great perspective in this photo Donald !...Donald K. Cherry November 08, 2006
Thanks everyone for the excellent comments. Lol, Marcie, it's probably not the safest thing in the world to do, but the speed limit on the bridge is 25 mph and I was only going about 10 mph when I took the shot. It was fairly early on a Sunday morning so there wasn't much traffic in either direction! #3560003Nina Shields November 08, 2006
Donald, your POV on this shot really adds strength to the composition; great work and capture of a very interesting subject! #3560042Robert R. Goodman November 08, 2006
